Current industry analysis and long term plan for OUR Growth

Dear Thuligal,

Currently, we are working in reputed companies, irrespective of our job nature. As per the records, today foreign investments are increasing tremendously. Indian BIG 5's are competing with the Global market and tremendous growth has been achived. Foreseeing the Industry growth, it looks good for the next 10 years....

Please share your comments with your current visualization of the Industry, is it on the right track, is there any better approach, issue in the long term plan and so, with respect to the current growth/drawback of the Indian Industry.

Note: Don't get confused with the topic. Will take you to the next level of discussion based on the results. ;-)

India is having a economic boom, I can say. But this development is not a holistic one. Unlike China, India is not empowering its non-IT sectors. We have only IT, Hardware, Banking, and insurance sector gaining more importance (ofcourse growth and revenue) for that matter.

What if the IT sector is down? That would inturn have an impact on the Banking and Insurance sectors as well.

I believe, the focus should also be on Agriculture and Manufacturing. If not, relying upon the current development is not safe on a longer run.

Well, the topic seems to be intersiting!

All i could say is that untill our basic infrastruture , education and agriculture are set right, this GDP growth rate will not sustain!

As per my senior's feedback, who recently visited China , they are now on par with european standards. If not in all, they managed to master themselve in many manufacturing areas!

Today, service industry is alone treated as the facet of indian economy with little proportion given to manufacturing!

Seeing all these, primarliy media is trying to use this opportunity to make money! the real facts and projections are not revealed, except by Planning Commission! Politics enters there too, where its recommendations were never implemented to 100%.

Hope, Nanda is taking this dicussion slwly to mission INDIA 2020 and our responsibilities!!
