Sponsoring a girl from Cheshire Homes

The Cheshire homes-Bengalooru supports more than 12 physically challenged girls. On average, a girl needs Rs. 10,000 for her educational, medical and other expences. We have decided to sponsor a girl, by funding them with Rs. 10,000. Views are welcome.

Hi Naseema,

I have added your Account number to the account handled by Thuligal. The View Payee isn't refreshed now. Will check later and let you know if it has updated.

Jananne,
Thanks for your good job. I will check it.
Naseema,
Do not you have that trust's account? If you give trust's account we will easily transfer the amount to them.
In this way, How you handle the transaction? Will you get any receipt or something like that from them.
I think this will be extra burden for you. If this is OK, then we do not have any problem in transfering amt to your account promptly whenever need arises.

Prabhu,

Iam not sure whether they have an account or the details of it and how they operate. They should give us some kind of receipt.
Will talk to them and which ever is the easiest way for me to give them the money I will give it.
And may be later you guys can transfer the money.

Otherwise I need to make two trips to the place once to find the details and then to collect the receipts.

Naseema,

I would like to know whether the activity of funding Cheshire Home for education of a child, is being accepted by the members of Bangalore.
Or Whether this had been informed to all the Members in Bangalore...

Please let me know.

Nanda,

This activity has been discussed a year ago and it was welcome then.

We are not interested to take this up as a discussion again by floating mails across the globe. Since, Thuligal-B lacks activity and is happy with anything that it comes across, we can proceed with this.

To sum up our discussion, we did not want to delay our funding to CH (ex: delay in Add Payee, post decision discussions). That is the reason why we decided to fund (pay) them from Naseema's account and later, according to our convenience, we shall transfer the money from Thuligal account to Naseema’s.

Cheers
A

Team Thuligal,

As this is our finiancially big step, i'm very much happy that we march with a good rythm.

I pray almighty to bring all goodness to those 12 buds!

Well, having done this, we should now plan for upcoming contributions. The system of monthly contribution really means to our group...which reinstates"Little drop maketh an ocean". This monthly contribution can keep strenghening our treasury.. But for any contingency requirements???????

So, i propose to raise a contingency fund. In this, i would suggest, NOT to publish the individual's contribution as our financial calibres are not the same. Let us not set any limits...might be Rs 100 or might be Rs 10000... Its our treasurer's responsibility to maintain the confidentiality and dipose the details after some time. I'm telling this becos we are not in a race to show our wealthiness and none of us should feel that he/she woul've given little more after seeing others figure...thats the reason for not disclosing the contributions!

End of this excercise we will see a big sum with us...which we can use when we come across an urgent requirement. Either it may be or a eduaction fees for a topper in a school or for a kid who needs to undergo a surgery...might be anything..we may not know!

That time, we'll deicide over phone n release the amount in time.

Looking for thuligal views.
